You'll like the K & N HP-2006 because of the removal nut on the bottom of the filter. With the headers in the way, it really makes it easy to get off. Been using them for years.

I'll put in a third vote for Doug's ceramic coated. Installed them on my 66 GTO. Well made, good fit, and about as easy of an install as you could wish for with headers.

Last fall I had my engine reworked. New rear main, valves, heads, etc. Naturally the oil was changed at that time, and I only put about 200 miles on the car before putting it away for the winter....
