Default Newbie 66 GTO header question?

Hi there!

First off I would like to say hello to everyone on the forum. I am a newbie here but have been into GTO's for 26 years and own a 1966 thats been in the "family" for as long.

I nee to replace the headers as mine are probably 30 years old and are getting worse for wear...lol..My question is which should I get ? The shortys or the full length style. And should I fork out the extra for ceramic coated?

Any suggestions or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I have also used Doug's ceramic coated headers in the past but my latest project is running stock exhaust manifolds. I have a set of the H.O. manifolds that I may install in the future.
Ceramics are cooler and were I to use headers they would be coated.

I'll put in a third vote for Doug's ceramic coated. Installed them on my 66 GTO. Well made, good fit, and about as easy of an install as you could wish for with headers.

I had to remove the z bar to get the left header in, but I did not have to modify it.
