here we go again ,but Ive got to ask.widest possible rimsizes in 17" that will fit 79 Trans front and rear. ive ben told up to 10" with 5" back spacing for the rear..fronts no more than 8"with ...

speedo drive gear question

when installing nylon spedo driven gear into turbo 400 housing is there a stud that mates to end of nylon gear inside the trans, or is it heid in place strictly by the housing ?

tig welding

tig is definately the way to go..it will get you the cleanest welds.unless your welder/fabricator i wouldnt attempt to mig weld intake . if it was to be welded with mig you would need a profesional...

no check valve here ,your looking at the pressure...

ive heard that there good for the track,not so good on street,they let more oil past guides to aid i high horsepower application.you may get some smoke out the exhaust under hard acceleration..good...

when i installed them on my 79 Trans AM, i had clerance problems, drivers side, lower "A" frame connection point .all over it.not only had to grind support structure but actually had to dent header...

I do know there was 6 quarts of fresh 30 weight oil in the engine at the time.the pick up is a milodon unit also.pressure is fine at all engine loads accept during hard braking.had that problem with...
