I left mine alone. No black gooey stuff, no felt, no clips. It's a '64 GTO. It's supposed to rattle. I don't think they had the black, gooey stuff at Fremont.

I put Gardner on my '64. It's cammed up a little and the sound is just sweet enough without being obnoxious. I was looking more toward stock looking, which it is. Don't know anything about crossovers...
