I am not sure on the seams, I pieced together the vinyl on the header panel / grille surround and you can definitely see the seam, also these were scraps and were turned different directions.........

I do believe the smaller bar is "correct" for 66 67 Pontiacs, I do think chevelles use the larger bar 66 - 67 and that is " correct" for them. If the frames are the same and the a arms are the same...

I had a worn lower ball joint and the front end would shake like a cement mixer when I hit the brakes....... sometimes I could ease into them and it would smooth out a little.

I went from the smaller center link to the larger, I went this route because the larger center link seems to be much more plentiful and about 1/2 the cost of the smaller, I order stuff for chevelles...

Thanks for the tips guys. I have solid engine mounts, the front core support does have pretty mushy mounts, this was an oe style shroud and was not really all that thick and seemed pretty flimsy...

Is it common for the reproduction fan shrouds to get warm and collapse into a flex fan??
I put a shroud on to help cooling and it made a HUGE difference. Everything worked perfect for my short 10...

Jimmo, If I remember....it is listed as 5/8" bore. I just measured it at .629, the hub seems to be pretty deep ...around 1.2" and offset from the pulley. If need be it could milled down to help...

I would think spring pressure and or high lift would be tough on the lobes.... also read an article on all the cheap lifters....... Has anybody used the lifter bore grooving tools ??
