(Tedeschi-Trucks Band) One best shows going today. Awesome every time I've seen them.
I find it interesting that Derek Trucks is one of the best guitarists on the planet and you and I are in some little club here who know about him....

We see Derek and Susan as often as possible. We went on the Blues Cruise out of San Diego and also out of Puerto Rico and they were both on board to perform. Actually went deep sea fishing with Derek on an excursion. Light years ahead of most guitarists. He truly becomes one with his guitar. Check out Legendary Rhythm and Blues cruise. Twice a year.

Bird, they don't know what they've missed,lol...We used to see Derek as a teen,he would set in w/Allman Bros for couple songs when they would come to Knoxville.Long before he joined the ABB. Nytrainer,I'm a little jealous, the Blues cruise is on my bucket list!!! Was Tab Benoit on one of the one's you went on?He's my favorite. I want to cruise,& maybe get a chance to play with some of those guys. One day...

Holy CRAP - wild show Saturday night - Machine Gun Kelly & Limp Bizkit at the Dome.

I'm not a fan of Rap but these guys put on a great show and the crowd sucked it right up! People were crowd surfing left & right, huge pit on our side of the crowd, plastic bottles & cans being thrown around all night long - Mayhem!

http://youtu.be/yzgwW3H2yyg

I can't remember the last time I've had this much fun for $50, and Sandra got a nice souvenir!

Fleetwood Mac at the Newark Pru Center 10/11/14. All the original group members played including Stevie Nicks and Christine McVie - no substitutes. Wonderful show. Sounded just like we were back in the 1970s! The wife was overjoyed as the tickets were a birthday present for her.

Fitz & The Tantrums at my favorite local venue The Dome at the Oakdale Theater in Wallingford, CT Friday night.

Cate was front & center at the rail in front of the stage & got some great up close pictures.....plus the set list & a guitar pick.

I got a couple of great videos - during Money Grabber he actually takes Cate's phone from her and has it in his hand towards the end of the song. He puts it in his back pocket and then at the very end (around 5:20 in the video) takes it out and takes a few selfies of himself on stage and in front of the crowd before he gives it back to her. Unfortunately when he thought he was snapping pictures he was actually turning OFF the video.

The last shot is from their Facebook page - Cate is right up front & I'm in there too - rear right under the white light with the grey sleeves - Sandra & I felt it was better to hang back.

Fitz seemed tired and his voice was shot from too much touring - we didn't notice it there but I can sure see/hear it in the video - he was much fresher last year when we saw him. I'll go again, great cheap entertainment!

I can't believe it, nobody says Bob Seger? Wow, that had to be one of the most fun concerts ever, I'd say it tied with the Eagles concert outdoors in 1977.

Bob Seger was the most recent!!! (I don't get out a lot...!) Eagles comment was just a comparison.

I'd go see Seger again in a heartbeat but after I posted, I checked his tour and the closest he is coming to me is about a thousand miles, sadly.

I watched Quadraphenia on the Paladia channel last night. Does that count?
