It works great in GTO's that go to Norwalk once a year.

Bud, if you were to incorporate a power steering pump into this unit and use 68hotbird's rear cam drive system, it would be possible to use an electric water pump and run no belts on the front of the engine. This would eliminate the need of deciding to run the larger or smaller crank pulley. It also appears, from the blue prints I have seen, 68hotbird's system will still allow you to jab a screw driver in the flywheel to hold the engine while torquing the balancer.

12's are a piece of cake. Hmmm. Rear cam drive?? I wonder if the Emf created by the alt would distort the harmonics of the cam drive? Might be beneficial to put synthetic gear oil in the steering column to bleed down the Emf's. I'll put up multiple posts on engineering sites and ask the question. Of course I'll have to debate all the answers and put up more posts asking if the answers are correct. Think someone on the engineering sites will tell me to buy a Prius?
