This thread cost me $139.00. The wife picked up a pressure cooker today. made a Chicken. Tastes like chicken. I'd like to try some ribs, but I need a cook book. Do you need water when cooking ribs?

You will not be thinking about the cost once you get it rolling with some good dishes like some posted here.
I don't think you need water rather some type of liquid like broth or stock.

My wife made a big pot of vegetable beef soup in ours tonight. Delicious barely describes it! She waited until everything was done before adding fresh carrots. They were done perfectly in less than 4 minutes.

I use a water mixture with apple cider vinegar with my ribs. You will always need some sort of liquid (usually about 1 to 1 1/2 cup). Most of the time, depending on what I'm cooking I'll use cans of chicken stock from Costco. When I'm doing things like baked potatoes, hard boiled eggs I just use a cup of water.

My wife made a big pot of Split Pea soup right before I left for work (night shift). It was ready in no time flat.
