Freshly rebuilt 1973 455 2 bolt main short block assembly
For sale is a freshly rebuilt 1973 455 2 bolt main short block. The block has been street filled with Hard Block to the freeze plugs. It has been decked, align honed with studs, and the rotating assembly has been balanced. It has been professionally assembled using the following parts:
Speed Pro SD455 L2423F-30 pistons that have been coated tops & sides Speed Pro R-10249-35 piston rings gapped @ .018 top; .020 second Eagle CRS6625P3D rods - stock length and full floating Factory 9779103N crankshaft Clevite main bearings MS667P-010 coated by Calico ACL rod bearings 010 coated by Calico ARP 194-5401 main studs Comp Cams SD Performance “Old Faithful” hydraulic roller billet camshaft 290-304 advertised duration 236-244 .050 duration .578 .582 lift w/ 1.52 112 LSA JP Performance 5614LB5 billet timing chain set The block code is YX; casting # 485428 dated F233.
