It really does look great! Nicely done. Also like the 71 front clip chrome bumper look.

Thanks, mct37! Isn't your car the one that is only a few hundred from mine by VIN?

Edit: our cars are exactly 100 apart, same plant (Pontiac).

I got a chance to take some better pics today:

Thanks! It used to be a green cloth version of what you have...split bench seat with column shift, AC...it also had the rubber floor. Is that what yours has?

I can see that as you in the front seat of your Dad's new T-37! Perfect B/W picture.

Just need some other vintage cars in the backround.

From factory it did have rubber floor, black vinyl split bench, column shift, AC, vinyl roof. Vinyl roof gone, rubber floor gone, put jute and carpet down. Seats are good except drivers split back (fixable). Ever take that out? Havent looked at it yet but I think its a horseshoe clip type fastener. Any info would be appreciated.

Even with extra floor covering, its loud. Thinking about adding soundproof under back seat and sides. Dynamat maybe?

Kept AC, upgraded (Classic Auto Air). Works great.

Yours a 4bbl?

Funny, just before I was born my parents went new car shopping. They looked a '71 LeMans wagon, but bought a '71 Ford Torino Squire wagon instead as it was several hundred dollars less. Of course it only had a 302 instead of a 350 like the Pontiac...

Next time I have my '66 Corvair out of the garage, I'll try another B/W shot of the Pontiac with the Corvair visible in the background to make it look even more authentic...

I searched specifically for a non-vinyl roof car...I yanked the original split bench (and the entire Jade interior) out almost immediately after buying the car back in '95, so I have no experience with those.

I replaced the original 350-2bbl in 1999 with a fresh 455 and a Holley 750 4-bbl. The original TH-350 and 2.78 open 10-bolt rear are also long gone in favor of beefier stuff
