Damn car looks like a Villain or some kind of wanted outlaw .
5 years ago in Gboro it looked more like a homeless refugee.
You guys nailed this one down tight !

The body color wheels are really doing the trick with the dog dishes.
Amazing how good it all looks together ,,, even the pepper-spray green.
Very impressed
Congrats to all the involved characters on the big award

Ha... it was the matched set of XE code wheels that you bought from me that put it over-the-top (I'm kinda proud that something from my car is part of that wonderful resto-job ). Fantastic, beautiful car, Scott... and congrats.

Scott

The other car at the convention was Verdoro.

Roger Wydler in FL has a PG RAIV. I believe the RAIV car for sale at Carlisle last year that was painted OO was also PG too.

Statistically, there should be a good number of RAIVs in Pepper Green.

I don't quite understand why someone would do a radio delete in a Judge. Maybe if they wanted to install an aftermarket radio, but if you're worried about weight savings, why go with a wing? And those stripes have to add some weight, too!

Homeless refugee?!?! Hey, man, that hurts! It didn't look bad from 30' away!

As for how good it all looks together, I just love the look and options - RAIV, M21, 4.33, manual drums, manual steering, radio delete, bench seat, and dog dishes. And it's not red or orange! Would love to get it on a scale to see how much it weighs; can't imagine you can get much lighter than this in a 70 GTO.

Thanks,

Scott

Yeah, those wheels worked out well. Clean and straight. Didn't need much work. Right code and think the date code was right where it needed to be, too.

Thanks again,

Scott

Ok, I had heard it was PG.

Certainly glad I didn't "go with the flow" and paint my car OO and/or clone it into a Judge or something like that.

I think PG was the most common or maybe 2d most common color in 70, so agree that there should be plenty out there.

Thanks

Scott

HaHa ... lets say 150'

It was loaded on an open trailer wearing an old black enamel paint job.
COVERED in road salt slosh / slobber spray from you dragging it all over the rust belt in foul weather.

Man alive, I was so relieved when it actually cranked right up and i didn't have to push it into a storage stall. lol

Victim of circumstance , was a good car that just needed a good bath.
But got a full blown casa de elegant resto job instead.

Good call on that one.

Here's a near twin of your car - or a first cousin at least. Reminds me of the old OJ Simpson joke. "Why did OJ want to move to WV? Because almost everyone has the same DNA."

Good to see you resurface and good to see your car in MCR. It looked great and was a good tribute to all the hard work and effort.

Thanks for your service. I hope all is well with you and your family.
