But why Doc. Roland should only be associating with good people and professionals. Instead, he has to deal with someone "stirring the pot".

Rob, looks like I'm going to have to bail on Atco Thursday if indeed it happens at all. I landed a week long consulting gig in Queens for 75 clams an hour. At present, unfortunately, I am in NO position (3 weeks before Christmas) to blow off $600 for the day sitting on my tookis building servers in order to go play at the drags...

Exactly....why would you want to associate with someone who's track record is that of a liar and has made maybe.....and I say maybe....two passes in the past 30+ years. Hows that R&D deal with goober working out with you Roland Racing?

Looks like goober is already planning on not attending the Atco rental.

**EDIT ** Don't link to other sites, please.
Cut n paste, but no links.

There is nothing wrong with that weather!! Just another excuse for something that is and was never going to happen in the first place! If he was dedicated to the sport like the rest of us racers he would have slowly gotten stuff ready over that last however many years he has owned the car! Just Proves what he really is IMO!

The fact is that Roland has no R&D program as mentioned. Unfortunately his good name is being dragged into something without his knowledge and that is wrong. I did verify this.

Not Going either as it seems to be cancelled.

Glad to see you put something together, even if temporary.

I'm sure he wants this thread to die, but it keeps going

Great Roland is making another quality product for Pontiac's and the "LIAR" is going to mess up his reputation.

I want to keep this thread on the top too so he that he realizes there are repercussions for his actions.

I think that is warmer and better conditions than Jeff on his small tires ran in. You would think that with those big ole gumbos he would be able to get down the track. I guess that is the difference Jeff is a racer and Gach is a "LIAR".

Didn't Gooch get a free set of CV-1 heads a few years ago and then he sold them?

Thumbs up

I'm going racing this weekend.
Weather is gonna be in the high 30's at night.

I remember going to Rockingham for an NMCA race back in 01 and temps hit into the high 30's and the car picked up 2 tenths. All kinds of record broke back them and never matched till the Organization changed owners and rules. Had to find a way to slow it down as the N/SS series was like Index racing.

Don't worry you saved it for him.

He is a posterchild of epic fail.

Jim Sammons is far from the first and I'm sure he won't be the last either........ even though nobody deserves false claims among other things being made on their behalf. One day he'll "pick the wrong person" to pull that scenario with and he'll get what he deserves.....who knows........maybe Jim is that person.
