Pete I figured lower curved part (that rusts out) would have been same and even the edges where it meets the quarter?

Nice pics of the car in progress. Can you post more pics?
Thanks
Gordy

john, if they haven't been stomped on, run over or twisted/kinked and are nos, they're gold right now. for those going to the partial quarter route, the bumper pad stamp-out isn't deep enough, the panel will stick out from the original where you cut your section line. instead of hammering your bumper brace intot he trunk a quarter inch--and messing up the bumper mounting points in the process--leave your original and cut the partial panel's around it. that way you also don't have to open up the tail panel. that in itself is a huge time/hassle savings. the bone or flank line is also a bit more pointy/peakier than the original, not much you can do unless you want to shrink/hammer it down.

Also the repo quarter doesn't have the subtle arch inward on the bottom of the pane were it meets the trunk extension. The repo quarter goes straight down. Look at my picture and you can see the difference. I have original quarters.

I've got a NOS set of quarters in Hemmings now for $3000. Quite a few callers, but no takers yet. Maybe demand is letting up some.

Whats out there for partial or re-pop quarter panels? Where are you getting them from? I thought all the re-pop companies sold the same half skin. I'm trying to get educated here. TIA....
