That's what I thought. Kind of funny. I thought of doing exactly what you did by using a smaller filter cover. Eventually I would like to find an original also. Thanks for the help.

I am missing the air cleaner for my 74 GTO scoop. Could I buy and modify another Pontiac air cleaner? One from a 4bbl Firebird for instance. They look like they are the same accept for the smaller...

Midwest Engine Builder Question

Does anyone know of any respectible machine shops in the Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN or Eau Claire, WI areas that they would recommend to rebuild a 455 Pontiac engine for me? My engine runs good now...
