Default Midwest Engine Builder Question

Does anyone know of any respectible machine shops in the Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN or Eau Claire, WI areas that they would recommend to rebuild a 455 Pontiac engine for me? My engine runs good now but want to rebuild it with more hp. It's pretty much stock. Would like to find someone local (or somewhat local) to build it right. Have no idea who to talk to. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Dan

I recommend

Total Engine Service
Ken Frison
9625 Humboldt Avenue S.
Bloomington, MN
952-888-3841

They are just a block or two west of I-35, off the 98th st. exit. They know how to build high performance Pontiacs and are very good at what they do, I've had a couple engines rebuilt there with good results.

Ken does great work. He's working on my stuff over this winter. You'll look a long while to find someone more competent.
