I agree, probably a $7,000 car ... to the right person.

So its only missing the engine but not missing nothing??????? Trying to work that one out??
Interestingly, I see that it has amber turn lenses grafted into the rear tail lights. There was a recent thread on this about some lights that had been grafted onto a Chev Nova Wagon in Thailand. Local laws again I guess???

Indeed, if it was a little closer I'd be tempted to look at it.. would make a good stable mate for my '70 Bonneville!

If that 70 silver Cat wagon had a black interior, it would rock. Sport mirrors were an option that year I guess? They look good. The big center grille works well on a big wagon. Add Rallye's, ditch the luggage rack, detrim the sides a little, Tripower 455...… I'm off to Tijuana!

If I had a spare 1K right now that would be in my driveway!

A grand for a not particularly well sought after plain jane big wagon with no motor? What's suspicious about that?

Maybe I'm out of touch here but I don't think that's crazy money for such a clean car that you just don't see anywhere in any condition anymore. I'd like it a lot more if it were a manual shift car. Even so, it's pretty neat to see in that condition.

Who actually wants that car though? Sure not me.. all I can think when I see that car is "It's a damn shame they didn't pick a better car to preserve"

Not my personal taste for sure...but I appreciate the fact that someone preserved it so well. Brings back memories actually. I had a girlfriend in the late '70s that had a Pontiac version of that same car. 4spd Astre wagon in light metallic blue...without the woodgrain..
