Chopping a HT of a car question!!!

Anyone here done it before? I am thinking of doing it to a FORD, specifically a 61-63 Tbird. It is a unibody car. If I chopped off the top where would be the smart places to best add support back...

Sooooo I am pulling the motor (400) and trans (4sp) out of my sons 76 rusty trans for another day. What GM products will fit? Nova's? Chevelles? Other Pontiacs? What shoudl I grab from the car...

76 trans is 400/4sp, is it a easy swap to any trans from 75 - 78 that is a what ever motor and auto trans? Seems to me if you have all the parts off the 4sp to put on the auto car it would fly. ...

1976 Drive Line Worth????

400 4sp with about 94k miles. Runs shifts fine BUT the motor needs head and or intake gaskets.

Volt Reg replacement

I have two ECHLIN (NAPA) volt reg's but what one works best for my 66 Bonny with the 389? I have a VR 138 and a VR 142. ANyone know which one would work best? From outward looks, they are dead...

That is the plan. Maybe go with a little thicker oil? Other then the gauge there are no signs of issues. I will not beat it though, just cruz and enjoy. Hell, the rebuild could have been 20 years...

I was "told" it was rebuilt in the recent past. The motor was repainted at some point and the gaskets on it don't look orig. Mine does not smoke at all, or used oil, and it is pretty quiet running...
