exhaust manifolds
Will Stock GTO exhaust manifolds work on a 1967 Firebird 400 ?
Just wanted to know what the difference is. Thanks !!!! |

dont think so,steering is in diff location as I remember.Tom

Yep, drivers side is different for sure, it's more akin to the full size car manifold.

Here’s what ‘69 Firebird and GP exhaust manifolds look like, the ‘67-‘68 Firebird manifolds will have bolt holes at the ends but otherwise they’re the same configuration.
The center outlet drivers side manifold is made like that to clear the steering box. The passenger side manifold is the same as used on A-body cars like the GTO of which both sides are a rear outlet design.

64 - 68 full size & GP manifolds will work on your Bird , and have all 6 bolt holes.
