Enclosed Car and Possibly Parts Transport?
I am working on making a deal on a '70 GTO. But, before I make the 20 hour round trip to check it out in person, I am trying to figure out what I will do about getting it here.
The car is in the Detroit area and I am in a suburb of Des Moines, IA. I would definitely want to ship it enclosed. The car also has some extra parts that would be too big to haul home in my car. So, they would need to be transported with the car if possible. I have a friend with an enclosed trailer who might haul it for me. But, he is a very busy person and it would definitely be an inconvenience for him. So, I'm exploring all my options. I was going to message Bill's Auto Works. But, I read that he is taking a break over the winter to help out his parents. Any suggestions or ideas what I may be looking at spending? I'm afraid hauling the extra parts may complicate things.
