Default Comp Cams id

I’m trying to figure out what the specs on this cam are. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you,

Comp XE hyd roller lobe number 3194 with a "B" suffix code on the intake.
Rated 282 at .006" tappet lift.
However the suffix code may, but not always, alter this duration by typically 1-2 degrees less duration.

It's 230 at .050" duration will remain the same.
It has 0.3890" lobe lift.

The exhaust is XE hyd roller lobe number 3196, again with the same "B" suffix code and a similar situation.
Rated 288 at .006" tappet lift.

It's 236 at .050" will remain the same.

Lobe lift is rated at 0.3900" lobe lift.

It has a 112 lobe separation with what might appear no advance ground in.

This appears to be the same as Dave Bisschop's revised "Stump Puller" cam. But I've seen his with 5 degrees advance ground into the cam. That might be the 5 on the end, but not sure.

Information regarding the roller cam suffix codes at the top of page 3 here:

https://www.compcams.com/lobe-catalog

Hydraulic roller cams and solid roller cams are often ordered with a "B" suffix code after the lobe number. In this case the seat duration (advertised) could be, but not always, altered by one or two degrees.
Also the lobe lift might have 0.001" additional lift.

Not much to really make a huge impact.

Default Re: Cam info

Thank you Steve! I recently acquired this cam, and a set set of Lunati roller lifters from a friend. I have a fresh 455 with forged bottom end components and 85cc Kauffmann D-port heads. They are standard and unported. The car is a 67 GTO with manual brakes, no A/C, but power steering. It has a wide ratio 4 speed and 3.42 posi. Is this too much cam for stock Kauffmann D-ports? I appreciate your thoughts.

Here 231 degrees on the intake with unported KRE heads and with a dyno sheet included:

https://pontiacstreetperformance.com...d455MikeG.html

Cliff Ruggles track tested unported with a similar combination here:

https://www.hotrod.com/articles/0502...track-results/

But a due note the Crower cam used in both examples is not apples-to-apples with the seat duration compared to the XE lobes. Even though they both have similar .050" duration. But more important, the big difference is the fact that the Comp cam is a roller lobe. Even with the same duration and lobe separation, you're picking up more horsepower and torque across the entire rpm range with the roller cam. And it has more valve lift.

For interest post more pertinent specs on your engine combo... stroke, compression ratio, intake manifold and carb in use, rocker arm ratio, current valve springs, etc.

Hopefully others here that are more attuned to the needs and use will chime in here with input with the potential use of this cam.

Side topic, it might be a good idea to discuss your roller lifters. Used ?
And I would darn make sure to consider adequate spring pressure involved should you decide to use this roller cam !
