Default Question about Holley 950HP Race Carb

I have a Holley 950HP that I have used on my 64 GP
with a 421. Never ran a vacuum advance, had the dist.
locked out.
I will be installing a 463 in the car and would like
to add a vacuum advance.
My question is:

Can the base plate be changed to the
street style version with vacuum ports?
Also, should the VA be hooked to ported
or full vacuum port?

Thanks

Yes it can be added to the base or use another base that has ported vacuum feature.
I have also to utilize or have activated the passage in the pass side metering block and added the needed passage in the mainbody.

Ported usually works better. As Shaker said the ports can be added but it will take some "doing"

I have a like new proform billet base plate with vacuum ports, etc I would sell. Used it for a couple years on my Holley 950HP.

That is the same baseplate I'm using>>I like the vacuum ports and the secondary easy to get at idle screw.
