Sure....Made 555/577....462ci

no tuning other than setting lash and timing,...qjet, rpm(no spacer), HR with solid lifters....wasn’t really trying for any power numbers....breaking it in and checking for leaks.

Frankly, it was Too damn hot to be on the dyno.!....dyno room was just put together so no A/f , carb hat...etc...etc...etc

It’s running, I’m excited!!!!!....smooth running as well!

What cam do you run? Great numbers, seems like the spread between Hp and torque is narrow.

Sounds good..I bet it was hot in the dyno room. What heads? That 4/7 swap would get me every time putting the plug wires back on!

Great numbers. Edelbrock heads?

The cam you used is bigger than the one in my 496. Might have been close to the 550HP if I used that.

Yeah.....true that....our ambient temps were in the 90”s which didn’t help!....tough to get a machine shop cool in those temps!...especially with little air movement,...dyno room was in the 90’s all day....I’m sure she was gasping a bit ..still smiling tho

What's the Road Pavers 0.050 lift numbers? I presently run a SR , but thinking about something more street friendly with less spring pressures

Keep in mind Comp lobe 3115 is rated in the catalog with 244 degrees. But if ordered with a "B" suffix code (3115B) as the Road Paver from Dave Bisschop it can come ground with 246 degrees. And if you use solid roller lifters on a hydraulic roller lobe it alters the actual duration with the valve lash. This lash effectively reduces cam duration, especially at low lift off the valve seat. And in doing so tight lash must be maintained, or you can start to damage parts. You have to stay on top of that lash religiously.

I ordered my RP with B3123/B3116 lobes, 246°/252° at 0.050" with 0.400"lobes on a 112° LSA.

You don't have to work so hard to confuse us. Most of us are naturally there!

Again, it's the roller cam suffix code.

IF the lobe number is ordered with a "B" after it then with a Pontiac journal diameter the amount of duration can, but not always, have two extra degrees of duration. 244 to 246 !

A fwiw. I'm not disputing anyone's cam duration here. Just providing a explanation as to why they SOMETIMES differ than the catalog listed duration on some custom roller cams.

Note Ray Klemm's cam here:

Comp Cams hydraulic roller
Duration at 0.050 246/252-deg
Duration Advertised 306/314-deg
Lift With Specified Rocker Arms 0.600/0.600-in
Lobe Separation Angle 112-deg

https://www.hotrod.com/articles/hppp...9-pontiac-gto/

It was ordered with lobe number 3115B on the intake. In the catalog lobe 3315 at that time was listed with 244 degrees.
