Default T400 trans linkage

Swapped a trans and converter in my 69 GTO and am having a hard time getting linkage right. Problem is with the rod from the steering column that controls the neutral safety switch to the coupler. Shifter works great but it slips off the coupler when it goes into park, leaving the rod dangling. Everything worked great before the swap.
Thanks for any help, Chris

Scott, definitely not that clip. Didn't touch anything on the steering column, just disconnected the bottom stuff to get the trans out

I have the cotter pins on. Problem is the coupler (#4 in the detail). Dude at work says I need to tighten something up on it so it doesn't slide.

That's where I went wrong, didn't tighten it up so it wouldn't slide on the rod. Had trouble getting it synced up so the key comes out of the ignition without having to twist the column. Need to try it again when I get time, thanks Scott.
