Default Formula Hood Plate

I have a fiberglass Formula hood on my 70 Firebird, and the metal plate that rivets on where the latch spring contacts the underside is rotted out. Is a new one available anywhere? I could make one, but it wouldn't be perfect and it's front and center when you open the hood.

I'm not aware that anyone reproduces that part. But it's a relatively simple piece (a few folds and a big rectangular hole...). If you drill the rivets out to remove it from the hood, and and bring it into a fab shop, I think they could make you one that would be impossible to tell from original...
