Default Door Glass

I am presently replacing the left front window regulator on my 68 GTO. I happened to notice that the door glass is coming loose from the bottom channel or rail that it sets in. It has a rubber insert that the bottom of glass sets in and this holds glass. .I am thinking I could reuse this rubber channel, but not sure. I am thinking a bead of urethane will hold window in the bottom rail. Does anybody have a better solution? According to Ames catalog, the new window does not come with this bottom rail attached, so I have to use my old one. I also ordered new inside door panels from Ames and they look really good. Even had the bottom carpet already attached. Thanks for any help. Mike
