At a local Christmas parade where I was carrying a local news team in my '70 LeMans convertible. On the evening news coverage, the anchor commented " There are blah-blah and blah-blah in a really nice Chevelle".

Just remember - 49 percent of the population is below average!

And why did you put GTO stickers on that Nova!

Yep.

The odd thing, last month at a show, some guy said "nice yellow Camaro" as he was walking by. I said thanks! It didn't dawn on me until a few minutes later that he said "Camaro". I'm either getting used to it, or blaming it on my stroke. Or both.

Ah they're just fun to get you riled up. No one I know of has said a bad thing about my GTO.... so far.

Well, I guess because it has GTO on all 4 sides, they know the difference. LOL

Put a Holley carb on that thing, it'll really run then!!!

Although a good friend former co-worker, he and his wife moved back to Florida here, about 3 years ago. He has a 72 Ferrari Dino...he did NOT like it when I referred to it as Kharmin Ghia kit car...LOL The thing about his cool car, if that NOBODY knows what it is...you think Pontiac's are misidentified...

I can't believe no one has come up with the classic "Is that a big block?" yet.

Went into the local Auto Zone and asked the gal behind the counter to look up a part for my '79 Trans Am. She hesitated for about 10 seconds and then said " who makes that"? In all fairness I have had one guy ask me the same thing.

I don't mind people asking if I am putting a Formula hood on it. Sometimes I get told I need to put a Formula hood on it. We stay in the herd of lil wee-wee flat hoods.....
