Default Mazerati Gives props to a Pontiac!

Yesterday I'm driving I-10 at about 75mph in the right lane going home from Lafayette, about a 40 mile drive, and I see this car coming up on me pretty quick in the rear view mirror. He is in the left lane as he catches up to me and he slows down to my speed. I look over and notice that it is a very nice, new, shiny, Mazerati! I look at the driver and he has a huge smile on his face as he shoots me the thumbs up, gives me the nod and speeds off! I guess a car guy is a car guy no matter their taste in cars....

I wonder how many '72 Luxury Lemans' I could by for one of those Mazeratis?

Those Maseratis are cool cars. A (one of the models) full-size 4 door with a Ferrari engine!

Cool! I remember years ago, back in the 80's, I was driving my 65 GTO and was just going by a BMW motorcycle, when he nailed it. Well, I couldn't let that go so I nailed my throttle. I had my 428 at the time. I banged through all the gears staying right next to him. Then I hit the nitrous button. Pulled away from him like he slammed on the brakes. Later on when he caught up, he drove by me slowly when I was sitting at a light, and gave me a big thumbs up! Even motorcycle guys can be car guys too.

Feels good, doesn't it!
