How do I clean these terminals?

You don't need to clean those. GM packed the brass touch-points with a special grease.

Just in case water or moisture ever seeped in there over the life of the car.

Is that dirt and crud all in the grease or just caked-up grease.

That one does look nastier than most.

WD-40 works pretty good, you can remove all the terminals and drop it in a coffee can and soak it. You can use an old toothbrush to aid in breaking it up/cleaning.

Spray 9 works well too.

The 'sealant' used I believe is 3M strip caulking, the thinner version of the windshield stuff. (EDIT: sealant is used on the male connectors)

EDIT2: Battery terminal grease was used in the connector side.

No one to my knowledge sells those new in singles, you have to buy bulk, think the last time I checked min order was 1000. Same with the ATO type replacement ones as well.

The terminals are readily available.

Take pics before you remove all the terminals, if you plan to do so.
