Factory coating

It seems to be some sort of a greenish plating? Would anyone know what coating this would have been? Also there are several (small round stampings with a dot in the middle and four lines) into this clip. Chris.

Hi Chris. I don't know the plating name , but it is also used on the 5/16 gas line clamps, the cross member brake line clips and the frame rail fuel and brake line clips. I think I used a rattle can I found in Hobby Lobby in the hobby crafts area. Just got lucky and found it. GREEN CHROMATE...OPS forgot the washer hose clamps also...

Those are the correct hose clamps also. The ones with the square ears.
The rounded ear ones are for newer cars and are more commonly found |
