Default Re-use timing cover sleeves?

First off, Happy Mother's Day to all mothers out there.

Second off, can I reuse the two metal coolant sleeves from my fubar'd timing cover on a new replacement timing cover? Or is that just inviting problems? Thanks.

If they're still in good condition then why not?

Yes, I realize that, but I am asking about the metal tubes themselves.

Well, it's a moot point for me now, because one survived extraction and one did not. Ha!
