Looks like a nice, un-messed with, well optioned '65....not too common these days! Have fun!

Very nice, glad to see another GTO get back on the road, with a little work. So, tell us the story on how you found this and brought it home.

I found it on Cragslist of all places. I called as soon as I saw it. it was located in Long Island NY. I live just north of Philadelphia. My brother and I drove 2 and half hours on Sat Dec 24th to see it. we got there at 8am. The guy selling it, Big Louie(serious) told us we were the first of 3 people coming to see it that day. after looking at it in the pouring rain we bought it!!!!! Drove up in the snow yesterday morning with a flatbed to bring it home. it now rests in my garage. we will start the process of getting it running as soon as it gets a little warmer. its 11 degrees out today. My phone froze while taking pictures!!!

Neat find. Looks relatively unmolested. Love the steering wheel and kleenex box.

Don't look too bad. Very original under the hood. Looks like you got a real nice sport wheel there. Good score!

Excellent start on a nice restoration of a 4 BBL 65 GTO with Manual Trans.

Congrats Tom V.
