Shipping charges for sending a email to Spectra
I bought a fuel tank and in my catalog it’s 149.00 G33. The new Catalog which not out yet it’s a 169.00. So I will be charged the new price. Then Ames sends an email to Spectra to send the gas tank to me. So I am charge 60.00 for truck freight that I am ok with then another 23.00 (this I am not ok with) for Ames to send over the email to ship the tank to me. WOW I am NOT HAPPY ABOUT PAYING SHIPPING TWICE!

Per PM, Ames explained an understandable oversight (due to UPS upped prices) and upon realizing this, they I immediately adjusted my shipping costs. Just wanted to let the forum know their response was timely and gracious and much appreciated. I consider this matter solved and this thread can be removed.

I'll never understand why people rant first all over the internet then contact the source to straighten things out. Simple mistakes happen. Many times the person or company the rant is about is unaware. As in this case. A simple phone call could have fixed this. But then, no one makes phone calls anymore these days. But then again, it always seems to be someone else's fault doesn't it.
