Default 1969 Down Shift Solenoid Connector

I recently installed new wire harness in my 69 GTO and was wondering what to do with the down shift solenoid connector. My car is a manual, so it's not needed, but what did the factory do with it? I checked my original harness, but it was cut off. I can't imagine they would do that on the assembly line. I think they would tuck it in someplace, but where? I don't have a points judged car, just want it to be close to original. Thanks!

The factory cut the end off and buried the wire back in the harness on Firebirds.Maybe they did the same on A body cars

I guess this makes sense. It's just cut off on my harness, but maybe it worked it's way free after all these years. I'll take a closer look at it. Thanks!
