Default Build thread

Thank you in advance. Just joined today and trying to learn the site. What's the best section to,start a build thread on my 70 GTO?

Welcome to PY !


I suppose it would be just fine to post it either in this section or the Street section. Either way, each new post you make will go to the top of the New Posts section.

Or, if it's a race only car, you could put it in the Race section.

You'll find lots of help here. But, be advised: When you start asking questions about your engine build, you will gets LOTS of different opinions, especially on cam choice. So, when asking for engine build help, be sure to provide all the info you can, such as: Budget, type of driving you'll be doing, if you want stock appearing or not, if you'll also be doing some drag racing or not, aprox horsepower you'd like, whether you'd prefer a smooth of lumpy idle, manual trans or auto.
