Default Let's see your '66 & '67 GTOs

i know it's a fluff thread, but i always enjoy scrolling through tons of pics of other member's car. i have looked, but have yet to run across a photo thread for the 67s. just curious if one exists and where i might find it.

so, it seems like this is going to be that thread... thanks for jumping on board, guys.

does anyone know if i can amend the thread title to simply say 'let's see a pic of your '66/67 GTO'?

okay, let's see 'em everyone!

i just finished the install of eliminators and W/O redlines on mine - liking the outcome.

There really isn't one. There is one for '66/'67 LeMans but not GTO. A moderator can make changes to the thread title for us. hint, hint....

Ok, I bought this from a friend that drug it out of a field. I drug it out of HIS field. Original 4spd, 4bbl, power steering, manual brake car. Has a worn out '71 YS code 400 in place. It runs and moves but is pretty much out of compression on 6 of the cylinders. I have a '66 WT I'm assembling for it. It will get a '65 Tripower that I've had in my basement for a while. Long term project.

thanks greg - i hope the mods see your hint. i'm surprised a thread didn't exist.

it would also be cool if everyone maybe gave us a quick rundown, drivetrain/options, anything special about their car.

evidence that i had no choice in the matter... the first pic is my dad's '67 linden green/black/black convertible, 4 speed from around '69/70. the next two pics are after my dad sold the car to my uncle. that's my uncle standing behind the car. unfortunately, i never got my shot at that car.

at the time, my mom was driving a '66 burgundy lemans and my grandparents were driving a '66 bonneville convertible in martinique bronze. cars to follow in the family; '70 lemans sport convertible (my dad's replacement for the GTO), a '73 grand am, a 76 grand prix, a 73 grandville 455, a '78 bonneville, and a '78 grand prix (this turned out to be my 2nd car).

67 Linden Green 4sp vert, doesn't get much better than that in my opinion. I had to edit and say I do also love the one that 67GTONUT posted.

There is a website called Ultimate GTO, and they have a ton of pictures. Here is a link to the 67 GTO lots. Plenty of cars to see...

http://ultimategto.com/1967cars1.htm

They also have a "dream car" feature which allows you to browse the pictures by year, model, and color. Here is that link...

Here's mine. Factory stock 400 4bbl, auto trans, PS/PB, factory air. Mariner Turquoise, black cloth top and dark aqua interior. Paint and interior colors are what came on the car. I added front disc brakes and Year One Rally IIs with Eagle Sport 235/50/17 tires.
