Came across this nice vintage photo of a '72 Lemans GT from the Alabama Living website. These GTs were beautiful cars when new. I see why you guys got that "chrome bumper love". I can't tell for sure, but it looks like this car came with 15" wheels. From the website, this is a post of this guys first new car bought at the Pontiac dealership in Brewton, Alabama. Dig the groovy clothing style of that time period too! Lol.

That is the same color combo of my old '72 GT convertible with 400 4v, 4 speed trans.
When I was selling it, there sure wasn't a lot of chrome bumper love. Many perspective buyers, while favoring it's rarity, said "too bad it doesn't have the T-41 nose". ![]()
