400 2bbl, console, non AC, chrome front bumper.... with a lot of NE body rot...

Like the flambeau burgundy color, would look even better with parchment interior

Waaaay too much work for the end result not even for 4K buy in.

What's rare about it? 2bbl motor? Damn they made over 3200 of those. Endura delete? I'm not sure that adds any value at all.

It's already too high...You'd be in a hole if you got it free. LOVE the riveted on patch panels. On the other hand, the interior stuff looks surprisingly good. Look at the steering wheel, seat covers and the dash. The chrome is still good on the instrument panel. Looks like a car someone took good care of for 8 or 10 years and let it sit outside for the 35.

You would have to spend 75K on that thing...no way would I ever fix up a car like that UNLESS it was owned by a family member and sentimental value.

Not a fan of parting out any GTO any more, but that is one that should just be parted.

Body shot, frame shot, 2 barrel – max $750?
Maybe $1000 if the hood and shifter are savable.

2bbl and Endura delete make it rare but not desirable, parts car for sure, and those two options make it worth much less as a parts car because there is no Endura or engine worth selling.

Looks like the paint might buff out nicely.

Even if that car was free, unless you parted it out, you'd be upside down immediately.

BINGO! Many times "rare" is due to no one wanted it!
However being a convertible it has to be worth fixing it, maybe for $4000 buy it now

That car needs everything.
$4,000 would be way too high for me to buy in. I'd be kicking myself every time I looked at how much sheet metal it needs.

would be enough to put me off. We can't see the floors...but have you seen the trunk floor? NO, because it's gone...lol

No gas tank. Gotta have a gas tank.

Prior post got it right: Be in the hole even if you got that car for free. Part it out for what? beer money? off-condition parts, block, rear end, vent windows. Would be the tar baby that roils anyone in the household, or hobby buddy.
$75k in the hole to get it right.

It's all fun and games until exhaust pipe rust gets in your eye.

I paid $600 for a car almost identical to that back in 1990 or 91 except it had a PERFECT hideaway front bumper & valence on it in Verdoro Green. You couldn't open the doors the car was ready to fold in half but we drove it onto the trailer with a fresh battery.

2bbl, auto, posi with highway gears.

Not that it matters, but does that XM stamp look a little suspect?
