Default Disc/Disc Combination Valve

I believe I figured out the difference between the disc/disc combination valve and the disc/drum combination valve. The disc/disc combination valve does not have the metering valve. I would think you can convert the disc/drum combination valve to a disc/disc combination valve by removing the metering valve and plugging the hole the pin sticks out of. These are both Kelsey-Hayes combination valves.

Those instructions are not the same as what Kelsey-Hayes did. Kelsey-Hayes removed to metering valve and left the proportioning valve.
