Axle Code help
Can anyone ID this code. From what I found , it's confusing and might be Canadian. CFX, CPX or.. I think the K is Canadian Plant and E is Eaton posi. Was told it came from a 68-69 full size and narrowed for a 70 Nova.
Thank You!

He says it's a 12 bolt? I don't want to drive a couple hours if it's not a 12 bolt. CPX is a 70 Nova code from what I found.

I'd get a pic of the rear cover?
(or even the gears) He seems to be avoiding that with the pics?

First letter may be a G. Then FX would be a 2.56:1 Posi '68-9 Full size, 12 bolt.
If first letter is a CFX, then it would be a '70. But, I see they made 2.56 in both 10 and 12 bolt configurations, so this would be a 12 bolt. Sorry about that. |
