Default My new best

Well out to the track today with Torquewar and drag radials bolted on set to 18lbs
Hit some 12:40 to 12:50...
Then couple more burnouts and runs 12:28 @110.55, then a 12:25 @110.05. Pretty happy about the car was a great day....not sure how much more is left in it but I'm good with those runs.

That's Torquewars car #4 we pretty much raced each other all day,,,,there was very few cars...had the look of rain for the day but held off but we had some wind in our face.....

That's awesome man. I've really been itching to hit the track lately. Haven't been to one in years.

I can really come up with a reason not to be there unless I hurt the car before then. I'm running on a mediocre engine and it's strictly motor so whatever it is it is. I'll man up and post a slip.

Have you had a chance to put a wide-band on it to check a/f ratio?

Played with the timing at the track? Played with shift points? Light weight wheels n tires?

I think you have some 11.9's in with a bit more test n tuning

As much as I don't feel like heading out tonight I think I can round up some co-conspirators for my date with destiny on the 11th.

That's great to hear as my combo is almost the exact same except I am using a RPM intake. Same head flow, cam, solid roller rockers and almost the same exhaust. I can't wait to get to the track and seeing you in the low 12's is a big boost since my build has been dragging on. Great numbers and good for you to be out at the track getting it done.

Thanks Will.....I really haven't done anything to the car it's been weather and track prep ....I ran 12:73 on street tires and the weather was great and track was prepped.......only change from that day to this day drag radials day was cool and track was again prepped...it was $40 to run..
Usually when we go to test and tune it's $20 and no track prep ....
