Default Beauty ring blues

I have an issue with the 4th clip on two of my trim rings not wanting to clip onto the rim. The clip actually sits slightly outside the rim edge, and is to far for me to put a screw driver between the center tab and try to force it on to the rim. The center tab just doesn't want to go inside the rim.

Anybody have a fix for this thing?

It took another set of hands and some wd-40. Never had that much of a battle with rings before. They did snap in nicely though.
