Back to basics
After building 19 Pontiac engines, I have never had a problem with running hot. Until I built my own. 482 stroker block filled. I tried everything in the arsenal. $$$ burning it down came to mind. Then I thought, what about my new $90 temp. gauge. Bingo. Now I need to change my 165 thermostat to 185 because at 95 deg day it will not go past 180 deg. Now i can sleep. I laugh at red lights now.

I replaced the 4 core with a 2 core aluminum that looks factory. I thought it was the problem. Now I have it to remind myself to look at ALL the picture.
