1968 - 72 A-body and GP 3.08 4-pinion posi rear end
3.08 4-pinion heavy duty limited slip rear end out of a 72 Grand Prix.
The 2.92, 3.08, and 3.23 Grand Prix rear ends from 1969 - 1972 will fit all A-bodies. I am pretty sure all of the Lemans/GTO A-body rear ends in this gear ranges are 2-pinion limited slips, but the Grand Prix limited slips are heavy duty 4-pinion units. The rear end spins freely. It has been out of the car for so many years I don't even remember what I took it out of. I parted most of the cars in the 80s. The grease was clean and the rear end isn't heavily pitted. The grease on the axle tubes spilled when we were moving it. I had to flip it end over end because we had to move it between cars. This rear end can be picked up at Autofair. $600.
