Default '63 Tillt from a Buick. Fits a Poncho?

Saw a '63 Full size tilt column for sale the other day & it's from a Buick.
A sharp guy told me that all these columns have their own specs for each division.
I can PM the seller'ss number if you are interested, the stalks are pretty pitted but those have got to be easier to find than the column?

I really doubt that it would be a direct fit.

Not a direct fit. Perhaps some of the internals and switches will interchange but, the mounts are different.

I gave a '65 tilt column to a mate who is building a RHD Chev Nomad wagon.

Remarkably close fit. All has had to do is remove the floor mounting plate and fit the Chev item to it. He has turned up new levers to match the Chev originals. Looks pretty good.

I suppose you can fit most anything to something else if you are willing to go the extra mile.
