Default Inner fenders on or off ?

Hi Guys,

My 64 Lemans will be going to paint soon and I am not sure if I should attach the inner fenders to the fenders before, or after paint? (the cowl and door jambs have been done)

...the fenders will be easier to mask without the inners attached, however, will the inners go in with the fender in place? as I do not want to move the fender once it is aligned for paint.

Thanks for your help

Have the fenders been cut in with color? if yes you can put them on.

yes, the outer fenders have been cut in on the inner edges, and the inner fenders have been painted black.

I think you are right, I will install the inner fenders before paint, get everything lined up, then I won't have to worry about scratching fresh paint.

I'd leave those inner fender very loosely mounted. Othewise, you'll catch holy heck trying to get the fenders on over them.
