Default 5 point harness mounting

Ok guys I have been researching this like crazy and even calling harness companies with mixed answers to a extent. I am installing 5 point harnesses in my 72 lemans sport. I installed a 8 point rollbar and plan to use wraparound shoulder harnesses to the crossbar. The problem im having is on the lap belt. If I use the factory seat belt holes I will end up pulling on the harness ends at a severe angle. It's been suggested to install eyebolts in the factory location with clip in connectors on the harnesses.this idea seems like it would work good on my outside connection but the inside connection would be pulling on the eyebolt at almost 90 degrees. Is this ok? I want this to be installed correctly the first time and most of all safe. Open to suggestions thanks in advance

I used a fabricated angle bracket on the outboard side (to go from the flat floor to an upright attachment) but no bracket on the inboard side.

The seat belt attaching end lays on the side of the tunnel and shoots generally upward and forward.

Along these lines, are wrap-around-mounted or bolt-down-mounted harnesses preferred?

Does the "rule book" specify one way or the other depending on level of car?

Hi-jack not intended...

Never pull on an eyebolt at 90 degrees.
