Default Linkage for ignition lock 70 GTO

Finishing up my 2004R conversion, replacing the 400 turbo.
Shifting into Park rotates the steering wheel column, which in turn locks the steering wheel, and allows removal of the ignition key.

Tranny linkage for this function I'm guessing is not going to a match up, what's the fix ?

That takes care of the neutral safety switch, which is a 12V thing.
I was inquiring about the rotating collar on the steering column / key switch and associated linkage going to the transmission.

Sorry , the link wasn't clear enough.
Use this one....I'm assuming you have a floor shift.

1968-75 GTO & Le Mans
TH700-R4, TH200-4R, 4L60
#SC2262. . . . $92.50

Then just hook up your rod like it was on the TH400. I don't recall even having to re bend the rod, I may have tweaked the column ear that the rod is secured to, but just a bit. I'm running headers also and it works just great. I tried to take pics but laying on my back in a dark garage with no lift didn't really work to well. I even added a tilt column .and it locks great .

Thanks for the effort, much appreciated. I have the same "laying on my back" garage as you do. Had been told that the lever wouldn't match and many gave up and just didn't bother to hook it up. Sounds like I just need to crawl under there and have at it.
