Default PTC 9" spragless torque converter

Has anyone used a PTC spragless torque converter and what was the results. I know they say a spragless torque converter can lose .10 and 2-3mph hr over a converter with sprag if the converter was a perfect match for your combo. Was running a 8" TCI convertor sprag type (group 1 ) bought from Butler 10 years ago stalls 4900 but has a 15% slip ratio when I was running 4.10 gears, with 4.56 gears the slip ratio came down to 7% . I had PTC build me a 9" 5000 stall converter spragless was hoping to make the car a little more consistent ET wise. It's a bracket car so I'm willing to give up a little ET/MPH to run more consistent. 3350 lbs car running 10.0-10.20. 455 th-400 5000 stall 4.10 (4.33 on the self waiting to go in).

All my ptc's are spragless and I had one converted to a mechanical diode and didn't see a difference at all. I don't believe in the mechanical diode BS. LOL.

It should run the same if the converter is right, maybe faster if this converter is better.

Makes a case for higher density converter fluid.

Tried that and talked to some different convertor companies about it. It looked to be a bit tighter at launch but rpm and slip were pretty much the same.
