Default '64-'67 GTO/Tempest Speaker Brackets

I need the two brackets that hold the 4X10" speaker under the dash on my wife's '64 GTO. I believe they are the same through '67.

Also, does anyone know the best aftermarket speaker for the factory radio? Most of the speakers today are 4 ohm, but those are not usable with the factory radio. Need a 10 ohm speaker, but I believe an 8 ohm would be OK.

I have the Ames speaker in my '64, but the sound quality is not good!

Found a pair. Also discovered a Radio Shack 4X10 8 ohm speaker that works much better than OEM. It BARELY fits with about 1/2" clearance to the heater controls, and requires some bending of the OEM brackets to fit them, but the sound improvement is well worth the effort. I went to a local fabric store and bought some sheer black nylon to cover the cone so debris won't hit the cone. If you're interested, I can provide the model number so you know what to look for on eBay.

Speaker brackets are now available as new reproductions. They fit the stock speaker and the one that Ames sells. The brackets may or may not fit other brands of speakers. I can't get the pictures to upload.
