Default Rock crusher question

I recently purchased an eBay rock crusher from show quality products and I always thought true m-22 rock crushers were all fine spline input shaft with big yoke output (400turbo yoke) with straight cluster gears. After I ask if it was true rock crusher I was schooled to an early style rock crusher that was 10 spline input and 27 spline output for direct replacement to the m20, m21, sag, and borgs. I was told these first gen crushers e ere just as good and more popular. Does anyone else know any info about these trannys. I cancelled my order until I gather more info. Thx

I think you did good canceling. M22's are a beefier trans . 10 spline input and 27 output are not beefier parts, and who knows whats inside it . It might be a first year M22 for a Vette or L78 car , not sure , but I doubt it. If you want a no questions M22 go with a Auto Gear unit. I bought one and its a top quality unit for not more than you would pay for used oem unit.

Yeah thats what the guy at show quality prod. I'm eBay told me but he said it was a true early rockcrusher. 1800 bucks with warranty show quality said they still have that whine. Doesn't sound bad for the money and they have great feedback but I just don't know if it still is worth it idk. Thx

Sorry for the typos. I will try to learn to proofread before sending lol. I meant to say the company on eBay told me the info I mentioned.

I have one (M22Z - the one with the 2.98 1st) in my LeMans; they are worth the scratch. All new - top quality stuff and of course the Rockcrusher whine 1st thru 3rd gear.
